In December 2024, Seibu Railway became the first railway company to join the Anime Tourism Association, actively promoting the appeal of areas along the Seibu Line to anime fans and tourists from Japan and abroad.
In fiscal year 2025, Seibu Railway will participate in major events such as the “Cool Japan Showcase / Anime Manga Tourism Festival” at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and the “KYOTO International Manga Anime Fair 2025”, promoting the Seibu Line area as an anime pilgrimage destination and working to enhance the overall attractiveness of the region.

At this event, we will unveil for the first time the “Seibu Railway Line Anime & Manga Spot Map,” which compiles information on anime works set along the Seibu Line as well as anime- and manga-related facilities. At the Seibu Railway booth, visitors can enjoy a panel exhibition of the map and pick up copies, as well as explore local products sold in collaboration with municipalities along the Seibu Line to showcase the appeal of each area.
