Participating Booths
Kami City is the hometown of Takashi Yanase, the author of “Anpanman.” The city’s local specialties and landmarks, such as the brand peach “Karikari Momoko,” the traditional craft “Tosa Uchihamono(Forged Blades),” and “Ryuga-do Cave,” have been made into characters by Yanase Takashi. The Kami City Yanase Takashi Memorial Museum is centered around the Anpanman Museum, where visitors can experience the world of Yanase Takashi’s masterpiece “Anpanman,” and the Poetry and Fairy Tales Picture Book Museum, as well as the Yanase Takashi Memorial Park and other facilities.

Kami City Yanase Takashi Memorial Museum
This is a memorial museum for Takashi Yanase, the author of “Anpanman.” The Anpanman Museum offers visitors the chance to experience the world of Anpanman through original picture book drawings and a gallery of canvas paintings specially created for the museum, while the Poetry and Meruhen Picture Book Museum allows visitors to view works from Yanase Takashi’s life work, the magazine “Poetry and Meruhen”.
